In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited family in Lucca, Italy. The two returned home to their native San Francisco with something very important: handwritten recipes, which they used to create authentic flavored syrups. These syrups helped Rinaldo and Ezilda reintroduce the Italian soda to their neighborhood. Years later, our syrup was used to create the world’s first flavored latte! We’ve remained a family-owned company -- adhering to the high quality standards that Rinaldo and Ezilda set over 90 years ago. Each and every syrup, sauce, and smoothie is created with care and pride. That’s a promise from our entire family -- including the more than 100 members that make up the Torani team. We started with just five syrups. Today, you can use more than 100 of our naturally flavored syrups, sauces and beverage bases in coffees, sodas, teas, smoothies, cocktails and more. And we’re excited to bring you new taste traditions and flavors as we move forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Torani syrups made with natural ingredients that fit a wellness lifestyle?

Yes. The syrups are made with pure cane sugar, natural flavors, and cold-filtered water, with no high-fructose corn syrup. They fit well into clean-label preferences compared to mass-market alternatives.

Can I use these syrups as part of a calming evening chai or golden milk ritual?

Yes. A pump of French Vanilla or Salted Caramel in warm chai or steamed milk makes a soothing, dessert-like drink that supports a wind-down routine. Many customers pair it with journaling, reading, or a bath.

Do the natural colors and flavors add to a mindful, sensory beverage experience?

Yes. The vibrant, naturally derived colors and rich aromas engage the senses, which is a core part of mindful drinking rituals. Savoring the color, smell, and taste can turn a simple drink into a wellness moment.

Is there a way to use these syrups for low-sugar or portion-controlled drinks?

Yes. You control how much you add. Most people find one small pump is enough to flavor a full drink, which keeps sugar intake modest compared to pre-flavored bottled beverages.

Does making a homemade flavored coffee reduce the need for less-healthy café drinks?

Yes. You can replicate your favorite coffee shop flavors at home with controlled ingredients. This is a common wellness strategy for people trying to cut back on excess sugar, calories, and additives.

Is this a good product to support a self-care morning routine?

It is a great addition. Slowing down to make a thoughtfully flavored coffee, latte, or chai signals to your body that the day is starting with care. It pairs well with stretching, meditation, or quiet reading time.

Can I use these syrups in non-coffee wellness drinks like golden milk or turmeric lattes?

Yes. Vanilla, Salted Caramel, and French Vanilla all complement warm spiced drinks. They add a gentle sweetness and aroma that make functional beverages more enjoyable.

Does having a curated drink ritual help reduce stress and screen time?

Many customers use a Torani drink ritual as a phone-free break. The few minutes spent making and enjoying the drink create a natural pause that interrupts stress cycles and screen fatigue.

Is this syrup set appropriate for someone who practices intermittent fasting?

Use is personal. Plain black coffee, espresso, and unsweetened tea remain fasting-friendly, but adding syrup will break a strict fast. Some people save Torani drinks for their eating window as a treat.

Can I use Torani syrups to make healthier mocktails for a sober-curious lifestyle?

Yes. The flavors pair beautifully with sparkling water, tonic, fresh citrus, and herbs. A Salted Caramel mocktail with a cinnamon stick or a Hazelnut espresso tonic delivers a sophisticated, alcohol-free drink.

How does Torani compare to stevia- or monk-fruit-based syrups for wellness?

Stevia and monk-fruit syrups offer zero or low sugar content, but many people find their aftertaste unpleasant. Torani uses pure cane sugar for a cleaner, more authentic flavor that is often more satisfying in smaller amounts.

Is this syrup pack better for wellness than bottled flavored lattes from the grocery store?

Yes. Bottled lattes often contain stabilizers, preservatives, and inconsistent sugar levels. Making your own with Torani lets you choose the milk, control the sweetness, and skip unwanted additives.

How does Torani compare to artificial sweetener drops and flavorings?

Artificial sweeteners can be useful for strict calorie goals, but many wellness-focused buyers prefer the natural flavor and balanced sweetness of cane sugar in moderation. Torani delivers taste without the processed sweetener profile.

Will I actually look forward to my wellness routine with these syrups?

Most customers say yes. The familiar, comforting flavors of vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut make everyday wellness practices feel like small rewards, which improves consistency and enjoyment.

Is there a risk of over-consuming sugar with these syrups?

As with any sweetener, portion control matters. Using a measured pump and starting with one pump per drink keeps added sugar in a reasonable range. The bottles make it easy to control how much you use.

Can this product help me reduce my daily coffee shop spending as a wellness choice?

Yes. Brewing at home with Torani reduces both financial stress and the environmental impact of disposable cups, aligning with wellness values that include financial and planetary health.

How do I use Torani syrup to make a flavored latte at home?

Pull a shot of espresso or brew strong coffee, steam or froth about 6 to 8 ounces of milk, then add 1 to 2 pumps of Torani syrup to the cup before pouring the milk and espresso over it. Stir and enjoy. Adjust the pump count to match your sweetness preference.

Can I use Torani syrup in cold drinks like iced coffee or cold brew?

Yes. Torani syrups are designed for both hot and cold beverages. Add 1 to 2 pumps to a glass of ice, then pour in cold brew, iced coffee, or milk. Stir well because the syrup is denser than cold liquids and settles at the bottom before mixing.

How much syrup should I use per drink?

A standard serving is 1 to 2 tablespoons, which equals roughly 1 to 2 pumps if you are using a pump dispenser. Start with one pump and adjust to taste. Stronger coffee or larger drinks may benefit from two pumps, while lighter drinks often need only one.

Are these syrups compatible with espresso machines, French presses, and drip coffee makers?

Yes. Torani syrups are beverage-agnostic and work with any brewing method, including espresso machines, drip coffee makers, French presses, AeroPress, Moka pots, pod systems, and cold brew makers.

Can I use Torani syrup with non-dairy milks like oat, almond, or soy milk?

Yes. Torani syrups mix well with all common dairy and non-dairy milks, including oat, almond, soy, coconut, and cashew. The flavors complement plant-based milks particularly well, especially Vanilla with oat milk and Salted Caramel with almond milk.

What is included in the Torani Café Variety Pack, and do I need to buy anything else?

The pack includes four 12.7 fl oz glass bottles of Torani syrup in Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Classic Hazelnut, and French Vanilla. Bottles ship sealed with caps. For convenience, many customers add a pump dispenser, but no other accessories are required to use the syrups.

Do I need to refrigerate Torani syrup after opening?

Torani recommends refrigeration after opening to preserve the freshest flavor, although the preservatives in the formula keep it shelf-stable for a reasonable time. Stored in the refrigerator, opened bottles typically last several months.

Is Torani syrup gluten-free and allergen-friendly?

Most Torani classic syrups, including the four in this variety pack, are gluten-free and do not contain major allergens. Always check the specific bottle label for the most current ingredient and allergen information, especially if you have severe sensitivities.

What is the difference between coffee syrup and coffee creamer?

Coffee syrup is a flavoring concentrate designed to add taste without significantly changing the milk content of your drink. Coffee creamers are pre-mixed dairy or non-dairy products that add both flavor and a creamy texture. Syrups give you more control over the milk type and sweetness level.
