How did we get our start?
My brother and I got started working for our family's hardware store. We expanded online back in 2008 selling other brands' products. Then in 2018, we launched our own brand of products "612 Vermont".
What makes our products unique?
It depends on the product, but we are most known for our window candles that offer brighter lights, more esthetic designs, and in many cases patented lights.
What problem are we solving?
Our focus has been on improving the holiday products you have to choose where there typically has been little to no product evolution over the years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a good gift for someone who loves crafting and wreath making?
Yes — crafters and wreath makers specifically request brown wire because it disappears into grapevine, twig, and natural bases, making this a practical upgrade they will actually use again and again.
Would my mom or grandmother enjoy this as a birthday or Mother's Day gift?
Absolutely — the warm, soft glow and nostalgic incandescent tone are popular with decorators who want cozy, low-key lighting for shelves, mantels, and bedside tables, and the brown wire feels like a thoughtful, quality detail.
Is this a good housewarming gift for someone moving into a new apartment?
Yes, the short 5-foot length and brown cord are ideal for small spaces, entryways, and dorm rooms, and the year-round warm glow means the recipient can use it immediately in any room of the new home.
Can I use this as a stocking stuffer or small holiday gift?
Yes — the compact packaging and modest size make it a perfect stocking stuffer, secret Santa gift, or add-on to a larger gift basket for the decorator on your list.
Is this appropriate to give as a Valentine's Day or anniversary gift?
Yes, the soft warm twinkle and "soothing nightlight" quality make it a romantic, cozy gift for a partner — many customers buy it specifically for stringing across a curtain rod or headboard.
Will the recipient think this is just a generic string of Christmas lights?
No — presentation matters, but the brown wire and warm incandescent glow are distinctive touches that signal a more thoughtful, decor-focused gift rather than a drugstore impulse buy.
Is this safe to give to someone with kids or pets in the home?
Yes, it is UL listed for indoor use with no open flame, no smoke, and a low 9.6W draw, making it a worry-free gift for households with curious children, cats, or dogs.
How does this compare to gifting a candle or candle warmer as a cozy present?
Unlike an open-flame candle, this gives a similar warm cozy glow with no fire risk, no smoke, no soot, and it can run unattended overnight — which many gift recipients actually prefer for bedrooms and living rooms.
Is this a better gift than standard green-wire Christmas lights?
For a decor-loving recipient, yes — the brown wire is the upgrade they did not know they needed, and the thoughtful detail signals you put real consideration into the gift.
Will a man in my life (husband, dad, brother) actually like this as a gift?
It depends on his interests, but it is a strong pick for the guy who has a workshop, man cave, garage bar, gaming setup, or TV ambient-light project — many customers buy it for partners who want bias lighting behind a TV.
Is this too small or cheap-feeling to give as a "real" gift?
Not at all — customers frequently mention gifting these to friends and family, and the elevated brown-wire detail, UL safety listing, and multi-year durability make it feel like a considered, quality gift rather than a filler item.
Can I pair this with other items to make a gift basket?
Yes — it pairs beautifully with a grapevine wreath, mini tabletop tree, glass cloche, decorative jar, or bottle-lamp kit for a curated DIY or home-decor gift bundle.
Is this giftable for a coworker, teacher, or hostess?
Yes — the neutral brown wire and warm year-round glow make it appropriate for almost any recipient regardless of their personal style, and it is small enough to wrap with a ribbon and card.
Does this ship quickly enough to be a last-minute gift?
Yes, it is a compact, single-item product that is easy to wrap and ship, and ordering close to the holiday is common for this style of stocking-stuffer gift.
What if the recipient already has Christmas lights — is this different enough to be a meaningful gift?
Yes — the brown wire, warm incandescent tone (no green tint), and craft-friendly short length solve specific frustrations that standard green-wire LED strands do not, so even a recipient with many light sets will appreciate the upgrade.
How do I connect multiple strands end-to-end?
Each strand has a male/female end connector on the single plug end — simply plug the male connector of one strand into the female connector of the next. You can connect up to 22 sets (max 216W combined load) on a single outlet.
Can I replace individual bulbs if one burns out?
Yes — these strands are commonly used as donor/replacement sources for prelit Christmas trees and garlands. Replacement mini bulbs of the same voltage can be swapped in, and the rest of the strand will continue to work even if one bulb is out.
Can I use these outdoors or in a covered porch?
No — this product is UL approved for indoor use only. For outdoor or covered-porch applications you would need a strand specifically rated for outdoor or wet-location use.
Will these work with my existing prelit tree or garland as a replacement strand?
Yes, this is one of the most common uses — the 20-bulb mini incandescent strand matches the bulb type, spacing, and voltage of most prelit trees and garlands, and the brown wire is a popular upgrade for anyone replacing a burnt-out section.
What is the difference between the 20-bulb and 35-bulb versions?
The 20-bulb version has a 5-foot lighted length with 6-foot total length, and the 35-bulb version has a 9-foot lighted length with 10-foot total length — both use the same brown wire, mini incandescent bulbs, and end-to-end connector, so you can mix versions on the same chain up to the 216W limit.
What is in the box when I order this?
You will receive one strand of 20 (or 35) clear incandescent mini bulbs pre-strung on brown wire with a 1-foot lead and an end-to-end connector — no bulbs, batteries, or extra accessories are required, and the strand is ready to plug in and use immediately.
Are incandescent mini bulbs dimmer than LED mini lights?
Incandescent bulbs produce a softer, warmer glow than typical LEDs, and use more energy per bulb — but the trade-off is the warm tone, no green or blue tint, and the classic look that many decorators prefer, especially for craft projects and vintage-style decor.
How long do incandescent mini bulbs typically last?
Customers report using these strands for multiple holiday seasons without issues — incandescent mini bulbs are rated for thousands of hours of use, and because the strand is connectable and bulbs are individually replaceable, the strand can be maintained for years rather than thrown out at the first failure.
What is the difference between brown wire string lights and copper wire fairy lights?
Brown wire string lights are plug-in, UL listed, incandescent, and end-to-end connectable for larger displays, while copper wire fairy lights are typically battery-operated, shorter, and used for delicate crafts — the brown wire is also more visible than ultra-thin copper but far more discreet than standard green Christmas wire.
